Conditions of Award

In order to apply for tourist guide approval, you must proceed as follows:

• Filing of the file at the level of the Direction of Tourism and Handicrafts of the wilaya concerned.
• Sending of the file to the Ministry of Tourism and Crafts, Department of the Tourism Quality Plan and Regulation.
• Examination of the file by the national commission for the approval of tourist guides (CNAGT).
• Establishment of the approval for the files having the favorable opinion of the said commission.

Treatment delays :

Filing of appeal within 60 days of receipt of notification.

Processing of the appeal by the national commission.

The deadline for issuing the requested document is 90 days.

The tourist guide license is valid for life as long as no serious fault is committed according to the regulations in force.

• Executive Decree No. 06-224 of June 21, 2006 setting the terms and conditions for exercising the tourist guide activity.
• Order of March 18, 2008 fixing and defining the standard models of tourist guide approval as well as the tourist guide card.
