The importation of plants is subject to prior technical import authorization, issued at the request of the importer. The import application file is submitted online.

Requested documents

  • Copy of the approval for the exercise of the activity of sale of arboreal and viticultural plants.
  • Copy of the commercial register (legal person case) or fellah card (natural person case).
  • Proforma invoice of the product indicating the variety as well as the origin of the goods.
  • Certificate of conformity certifying that the plant material which has not been the subject of an artificial transfer of genes is "non-GMO".
  • Certification scheme issued by the Official Service of the importing country.
  • Certification certificate issued by the official service of the importing country.
  • Phytosanitary certificate of origin.
  • join with the appendix in case of importation of several products.

Delay in days

The technical authorization is issued within a time limit set by the regulations in force.

When and how delivery takes place

In the event of a complete file that complies with the regulations in force for the prior technical import authorization signed and notified to the operator concerned electronically.

The period of validity of the document issued

The prior technical import authorization is valid for a period of three (03) months.
