The disabled person's card is the act that certifies the status of disabled person, it allows access to the benefits defined by the legislation and regulations in force, including:

• Financial allocation
• Social care (social security coverage and assistance in kind)
• Free or reduced transport fares
• Special education
• Accompaniment of children with disabilities in ordinary schools
• Socio-professional integration
• Tax exemption or reduction

The disabled person's card is issued by the director of social action and solidarity of the wilaya by decision of the specialized medical commission of wilaya and this, after examination of the medico-administrative files filed by the persons concerned or his guardian.
