Any
citizen who was incarcerated in colonial prisons during the war of national
liberation (1954 – 1962), or his beneficiaries, may withdraw his
certificate of presence in detention during the war of national
liberation, from the sub-directorate of Documentation and Archives, at the
level of the Ministry of Justice or at the level of any court, at any
point in the national territory.
To
withdraw the certificate of presence in detention during the war of
national liberation, it is necessary to fill in the electronic form.
The
withdrawal of the certificate may be made, at the chosen entity (Court or
Ministry of Justice) within a maximum period of forty-eight (48) hours following
the electronic sending of the request.
The
certificate is issued free of charge to the person concerned, justifying
his capacity (the individual himself or the beneficiary) by the
presentation of his official identity document.
