  • Any citizen who was incarcerated in colonial prisons during the war of national liberation (1954 – 1962), or his beneficiaries, may withdraw his certificate of presence in detention during the war of national liberation, from the sub-directorate of Documentation and Archives, at the level of the Ministry of Justice or at the level of any court, at any point in the national territory.
  • To withdraw the certificate of presence in detention during the war of national liberation, it is necessary to fill in the electronic form.
  • The withdrawal of the certificate may be made, at the chosen entity (Court or Ministry of Justice) within a maximum period of forty-eight (48) hours following the electronic sending of the request.
  • The certificate is issued free of charge to the person concerned, justifying his capacity (the individual himself or the beneficiary) by the presentation of his official identity document.
