Any person may obtain an official copy of these acts, which concern the personal status that governs the private life of each individual, such as marriage, divorce, wills, donations, etc., and which were drawn up only during the period (from 1920 to February 1975), from the Ministry of Justice or a court (court or tribunal).

  • To obtain an official copy of these acts, it is necessary to fill in the information requested in the “Form for requesting copies of acts rendered bythe courts of Muslim law”.
  • The official copy of these acts may be withdrawn, within a maximum period of fifteen (15) days following the electronic sending of the request, to the entity (Ministry of Justice or jurisdiction) chosen when filling in the aforementioned form.
  • The official copy of these documents is issued free of charge to the applicant who proves his capacity (the individual himself or the beneficiary) by the presentation of his official identity document.
