Authorization to transport hazardous special waste application

Requested documents

The application for authorization to transport hazardous special waste consists of the following documents:

• Request letter, indicating the name or the social legal name (la raison sociale) and the address of the applicant, the nature, the denomination and the code of the waste to be transported in accordance with the provisions of the executive decree n° 06-104 of 29th Moharram 1427 corresponding to February 28th, 2006 fixing the nomenclature of the waste, including the dangerous special waste;
• List of the on-board personnel and their qualification certificates.
• Valid copies of the :
  • Commercial register of goods carrier(s)
  • Driver's license
  • Transport insurance contracts
  • Registration cards
  • Technical inspection and conformity reports for vehicles and trailers
  • Vehicle permits
• Loading and unloading points, as well as the main transit points (itinerary)
• Itinerary and duration estimated for the transport of the waste concerned.

When and how the delivery takes place

Please submit the application in 02 copies to the Ministry of Environment.

• Executive Decree No. 04-409 of December 14th, 2004 setting the terms and conditions for the transport of hazardous special waste
• Interministerial order of September 2nd, 2013 setting the content of the application file for authorization to transport hazardous special waste, the terms and conditions for granting the authorization as well as its technical characteristics.
